| Description: | Bono catches a glimpse of my cameras and makes quick eye contact while scanning the crowd. I was shooting with two cameras —> the Canon Rebel with a wide angle pancake lens and the Canon G12 Powershot for its zoom capabilities. Being forced to use a fixed wide angle lens resulted in some interesting and unusual composition opportunities, like this image including the crowd. However, during the chaos that would ensue whenever Bono came close to my area, my arm was bumped and the G12 slipped out of my hand like a wet bar of soap, crashing to the ground. Of course it landed lens-first, with a cringeworthy bang that I swear was louder than the loudest band in the world! Soldier Field, Chicago June 3rd 2017 |
