Performance notes: The giant lemon was broken, so it was not used. Before Desire, Bono asked humorously if the evening's persistent rain was the work of controversial state politician Fred Nile and told the crowd not to let Nile rain on their parade. He then jokingly dedicated Desire to the socially conservative Nile and another controversial Australian politican, Pauline Hanson. This show featured the last performance of MLK until 3 February 2002.

Documents about U2's 1998 tour plans that were distributed to their tour crew during Popmart's third leg in 1997 indicated there was an option for a second Sydney show at this venue the next night, 1998-02-28. This second concert was never announced as demand was insufficient.
