Performance notes: The Edge attends the re-opening of Preservation Hall, a New Orleans music venue that had been closed since Hurricane Katrina. The re-opening involves a presentation by Music Rising, a charity supported by Edge that seeks to help musicians affected by the hurricane. During this ceremony, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band performs a bluesy, swinging version of U2's Vertigo with The Edge participating on guitar and backing vocals. The Edge described it as "a kind of Dixieland version" of Vertigo that was "so brilliant".

Performance

A fun little Southern jazz rendition of Vertigo by the Preservation Hall Band.

Sound

Pretty good, but the singer sounds pretty muffled and the audience can be too loud sometimes.

Overall

It's just one song but it's a nice little oddity to have.
