Overall

Great show. U2 has hit their stride in this 1st of 2 shows in Chicago. Scary moment came up right before "Lights of Home" as Bono feel backwards down the stairway in the screen. Interestingly during the show, I had now idea he had. We were near the 'e' stage and Bono didn't miss a beat.....a timely line/lyric followed the fall...."Shouldn't be here because I should be dead...". The show featured 'Gloria" and great MacPhisto speak before Acrobat. I fell in love with the show's encore here too. Maybe its the powerful chain of songs strung together with Acrobat, Best Thing, Starring at the Sun, Pride, Get out of Your Own Way, American Soul, and City of Blinding Lights to set it all up....One, Love is Bigger, and especially 13 are amazing to close the show. Yes, you leave with a completely different feeling than you are used to at an U2 show, but its a good feeling still. Great show!
