I'd like to ask about credit card entry. I bought one paperless ticket to the show in Glasgow for 6th November, but we paid that my brother's credit card. The question is, if I take my brother to the entry gate to present his credit card and passport, can I enter to the show alone?
Yes that should be fine. I doubt you even need your brother, only his creditcard would be fine. But if you're unsure you can always contact the local Ticketmaster office.
  2. I wouldn't see why not…if they gave you any trouble, showing any proof of ID that you're his brother (same last name on an ID or whatever) I think they'd probably be slightly more lenient than if it was a scalper walking you to the gate. Not sure though, to be quite honest. Not much else you can do at this point though!
  3. I'll throw this story here for reference since it somewhat applies to peoples' worries about paperless entry:

I saw Arcade Fire do the opening night of the Reflektor Tour, and the venue was very strict on paperless entry for our floor seats. A friend of ours had his identity stolen after he bought the tickets, and was issued a new credit card…different number, but the same name. The box office was very particular about making sure he was the same person, etc., but did let him into the show with a re-issued ticket.

So I don't think its a case of "you're totally out of luck" if something comes up with a paperless ticket…but it had better be a pretty easy situation to explain if you're not going to enter with your own personal credit card.
  4. My worry is that Ticketmaster make it very clear that the person named on the credit card must be present and enter the venue with the party. I'm in the same situation, I used my Mum's credit card. It really depends on the person that will be on the door and whether they are a jobsworth or not.

  5. I have purchased several rugby tickets before through Seatwave. They do charge hefty booking fee on top of ticket price.

At least through Seatwave the seller of the tickets does not receive payment until AFTER the gig, and in case of a problem they can hold payment to seller. So chances of being fooled/scammed are small.
  6. Curious question, I have a small hand bag, can I bring that to GA with me or will it get taken off me ?
  7. Depends on location. Some US venues do not allow any kind of bags, in Europe mostly you can bring a bag, even a small backpack. Best is, to call the venue you wanna attend.

Just make sure you're on time
  9. thanks, I just don't want to pocket my mobile and purse
  10. Checking some adverts on Marktplaats (sort of national eBay in Holland). Someone is offering 4 GA for the 12th because they tried to buy tickets with several people and succeeded. They have 4 left. She sells them for 320 EUR each (!!)

I'm almost willing to find out who she is and just burn the tickets. Can't stand scalpers.
