1. I don't like it much to be honest. More front row? Yes, but you will only face each member of the band a 50% of the concert, that is SO uncool. I don't wanna see their asses and their IEMs, I want to see their faces and their instruments facing me.
  2. It's certainly a bit better than 360 if your goal is get close enough to shake Edge's hand. I remember during the 360 show I attended how everyone was rushing to get to the inner circle, but I actually got to shake Edge's hand by being at the outer ring.

I guess we'll have to see when people start posting photos and stuff where the best seats in the house really are, but my initial instinct is to head over to Larry's side since you know he's not moving anywhere.
  3. If that real will be the stage, what are the raised platforms at either end? They don't make much sense to me, seems like they would block a lot of the view

Meh, the previous tours had outer circles. So when they were there, people at the inner circle would see there back as well. Still almost anyone tried to be at the inner circle.

The raised platforms look like placeholders for tech equipment.
  6. One side PA, other side orchestra ?

They only spent 3-5 songs of each concert on the outer catwalks with the ocassional run or walk by Bono or Edge... It was not a full half of the concert. With this stage, I don't know if they'll do it in halves, groups of songs or song by song, but they have to face each direction of the arena during 50% of the time, or else half of the seats should have been cheaper (as were the seats behind the stage during the 360 Tour).
  8. We'll see in may. It's too soon to judge the stage now...
  9. Nah, U2.com will leak another full slideshow of the stage by mistake soon. No need to wait for May hahaha
  10. Yeah, it will... but until someone doesn't see it in real - I mean how it really looks like on a show, we can just be rumouring...
  11. As its arenas it's not as likely we will see something as assembled as we saw the Claw being assembled for weeks in Belgium back in 2009
  12. Rehearsals should be a lot more interesting too, aren't the arena ones much more secretive?

Not that I fully intend to be following them, to be honest…want as much surprise as possible.
