1. SX520 is a bridge cam, no removable lenses, so this should be fine. maybe you need to demonstrate the fixed lens.

unfortunately it's bigger than Canons smallest DSLR.
  2. yeah, like sparko said, the lense is not removable, it just looks a little big. so it's better to be honest about it or try to hide it by putting it in the bottom of my backpack?

My girlfriend the same problem, big camera but without removable lense.
So I really hope we will get in with that camera...

  4. Same camera like night 1 and 4 , will film at least 10 complete songs like all nights
  5. Great, I will add you to the opening post then Thanks a lot!
  6. Regarding bridge cameras, I was rejected at Muse 2012 and at some other concerts with my Nikon P500 and had to leave it at the storage wardrobe or whatever it's called.

It's a non-removable lens but bouncers don't give a damn and won't listen to you, they have to frisk 12.000 other guys so your photography claims are shit to them. Bridge are great cameras but I'm not sure I want to risk it at the Ziggo - I'm already risking it by bringing 2 recorders and pairs of mics and another (compact but huge) camera. Maybe I'll try to hide it at my girl's bag, or just skip it altogether.

Take a look at my advice on how to take taping gear inside - it should work for your camera as well: http://www.u2start.com/content/article/14/Tapers-guide-part-3-Get-in-record-share/ In short: bring a lot of "forbidden stuff" like food or soda bottles, so guards focus on that, and while they explain you that you can't get it into the venue, bla bla, they don't look at your bigass camera
  8. Done. Updated the other shows with more info (around 10 songs, right?)
  9. Yes, will try to film around 10 songs I guess, hard to say, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, I have no GA on night 3 so I guess it will be easier to film a lot, especially the screens and some overviews
  10. Yeah, wide angles and venue overviews are very useful for multicams since most people recording focus on their zoom a bit too much. I believe Loftarasa is filming mostly wide angles and screen action for example Filming from the seats is easier too.
  11. Is K carrying a camera too? If so you should not worry, any videos is better than no videos
