First, a huge thank you goes out to all of the tapers who have made the effort to record and circulate these shows for others to enjoy.

I made this collection using whatever shows from the Boston area that have been taped since U2 first arrived in 1980. It was a tougher process than I thought, trying to select the most representative song from each show, with no repeats and trying to cover the huge catalog of songs as well. Some recordings are close to terrible and some are pro fm or soundboard, so I ask your tolerance as you listen to them all and be warned I did not do any audio enhancements at all, other than trim a few tracks to cut out extensive cheering or song breaks.

Some song choices are because they are rare performances, others because they were show stoppers, and others because of the banter or comments made. However I didn’t want to just use songs where Bono gives a nod to the city, that’s too easy. In the end it’s a fun historical journey of a ”U2 town”. I tried to include sources for each of the shows as I have them. Feel free to contact me with any corrections or additional information.

Hi Jeffrey,

First of all, thanks for sharing! It's always nice to "bundle" shows to allow easy access for fans to so many shows.

However, some of the material included in the bundle we mark as official material, and thus cannot be shared here. Some of the songs of Joshua Tree shows were released on Wolfgang's Vault and 11 O'Clock from one of the earlier shows appeared on the deluxe version of October.

We are very strict with this and we have to be, as we've had some problems with this in the past.

Maybe you can opt to remove the mentioned songs/performances above and re-upload and share
