EBV NEEDS to be full band bono's voice wont take that strain the whole tour and i haven't herd a version of it half as good then on tv, i understand its the middle of the show hes voice is tired or watever but just take the risk and try a full band version, i mean cover bands can pull it off, surely so can the real band!!!

Which books he's using. Yes, the scene does emulate the bombing scene, but he tears the books as he's singing 'I don't believe anymore' which I found to be super symbolic. Maybe I'm over thinking it but regardless a nice touch.

IF Lykee Li is still in LA, I can see The Troubles being performed. Wish they'd have the balls to pull out some rarities though.

About EBW : I've had such high hopes for this one... They really are blowing it.
Start with a piano, let the band come in AND let a mini-orchestra join on the main stage. Now that would be a highlight.

(But then they'll have to play a/a few other song with the orchestra probably and Bullet isn't going anywhere, so no such hopes...)

Personally, I like EBW with just Bono and Edge. Obviously, the best performances are the ones in which you have the full band and the mini-orchestra, but it's hard to justify bringing an orchestra for just one song... However, didn't they do that during the Vertigo Tour for Original Of The Species? Why don't they add OOTS to the set right before EBW so they can have two songs with an orchestra?

I don't even care about a mini orchestra, just play the damn song with the full band!

The OOTS orchestra wasn't a regular thing.
I believe it's a pain to arrange and pay for a mini orchestra to accompany them throughout the tour for only a few songs...if it was their original idea of having one night with just U2 and another with acoustic U2 + mini orchestra...that would make sense - otherwise not worth it for them.
