  1. Ok, before someone complains, yes, I have Too Much Time On My Hands, so I thought I could start a useless thread.

    While listening to War Tour shows, I thought that one of the cool things they have is that they're a nice summary of the first 3 albums.

    That led me to think that 3 albums is a good number of albums for a show...

    ...For Boy and October, they struggled to complete a setlist because there weren't enough songs that they deemed worthy of playing, and the Unforgettable Fire doesn't work as a summary anymore because they're already dropping too many songs.

    For the I+E tour it's gonna be impossible to fit the old warhorses, the fan favourites, the acoustic versions, the surprising throwbacks and the new songs, and I love that I'm not the guy responsible to decide which songs will be left out of the setlist.

    But I thought it would be interesting to come up with an imaginary setlist with the premise that they could only use songs from the last 3 albums.
    Just like War Tour was Boy+October+War, let's pretend for a moment that I+E Tour would be Bomb+No Line+SOI... what would the set list look like?

    (Disclaimer: "That's a terrible idea" + "It wouldn't work" + "They won't do that"... yes, I know... I just thought it'd be fun to imagine this scenario)

    Ordinary Love, Moment of Surrender, White as Snow and Window in the Skies)


    Main Set

    13. Original of the Species

    Building up to Cedarwood-Volcano-Wolves, closing with Yahweh.
    (Not many variations, as well stablished as main sets usually are).

    Encore

    21. Song For Someone
    22. The Troubles

    Coming back to the stage with Crystal Ballroom, Song for Someone playing Withorwithoutyou's role and closing with the Troubles including an extended solo from the Edge.
    Hopefully every once in a while they'd extend the encore with something like:

    Fez, Fast Cars, Lucifer's Hands, Saints are Coming, Love and Peace or Else, or Sometimes you Can't Make it
