  1. Crowdfund my trip to LA then, I can audio tape, record video, stream it live and still enjoy the show, all at the same time.
  2. You'll have a hard time convincing 5 members to fund, never mind 50,000.

    I wonder if the news speaker system will mean better bootlegs Tim?

    Ahh, its more than one guy - I didn't realise. Yes, the chances are i've probably heard plenty of theirs.

Well it's still a bit early to judge, but the Periscope/Meerkat streams we're getting are already quite good and Remy said that the bootleg for last night, recorded on a HTC phone was also decent. So with proper gear (not phones) and experienced tapers, I'm going to say yes, bootlegs will probably be very good for this tour. Looking forward to hearing them all.
  6. According to JEMS, the sound was consistently good and LOUD in Vancouver, so I would expect an average of high quality bootlegs. Nevertheless, the average was already pretty good last tour, including some of the best audience recordings that ever surfaced of U2 shows, so I wouldn't expect a super improvement in quality...because there's not much to improve
