    I honestly believe that shows are all about being there. It is highly subjective and it is meant to be subjective.
    Concerts in Berlin, Barcelona and Glasgow have also been exceptional. And London had exceptional shows. And Cologne. And Belfast....

  2. Back home after three amazing days in Dublin. Monday we spent our time visiting some U2-spots, and doing a pub crawl in the evening. Tuesday we've been to The Church, the "unofficial" preparty for the U2-gigs. I was expecting a lot of fans there, but during the time we were there (4PM-6PM) there were at most 15-20 fans. But bar is nice decorated in a U2-theme, and DJ was also playing nice records. (when you hear Acrobat, Bad (Live Aid version), If God WIll Send His Angels,... It can't be bad )
    So although the U2 bar was almost empty, we had great time waiting to leave to the concert.

    Our seats in the 3Arena were really amazing. We had the cat.1-seats in Block J. Amazing view of the screen, both stages, overview of the crowd,... My only concern was that I can't sit down during a show, so I was hoping nobody would complaining and asking to sit down. After the first 3-4 songs a lot of people in the arena were sitting down (maybe most of them), but we we're lucky enough to be in a block were a lot of people keep standing. Crowd wasn't that heavy during the first half of the show. As I said, most people were sitting down, not too much respons to the new songs,... But in the second part of the show (and especially the last 30-45 minutes) the atmosphere was really good. During Pride crowd the "Ohoohohh" in the middle of the song were very loud, an suddenly the crowd started singing already the next verse without Bono, even Bono was looking like "wowww!". I think that was the moment they decided that such a good evening deserves a great ending. I was expecting the regular day2-setlist without surprises, so when I suddenly heard the first notes of Bad at the end.. Wow, amazing moment! Really gaves me goosebumps!!!

    After the concert we headed to the Temple Bar. A lot of fans there, met people from all over the world. Certain moment a large group of fans was packed together in one of the smaller rooms of the pub while U2-songs were played all the time. Really amazing moments, everybody singing out loud and jumping together, ambience was even better than at most shows.. Great great afterparty! I've met Joe O. there so I guess there were also some other forum-members at the same place?

    Seeing U2 in Dublin was always a dream for me so I'm very happy I was there. Dublin city is also a nice place to be, so no doubt I will visit Dublin again!

    Good trip for everyone who still needs to go, enjoy the shows!

  11. Yeah, check-in times at 12, 6 and 10? That's too easy. If you queue, at least get yourself there the entire day.

    Maybe I'll get a number now too as its this easy but I'm totally against this
