  1. More value in keeping the retractable seats in place but maybe the band would prefer the increased capacity. Either way I hope there is a GA drop and I hope I'm near a computer when it happens.
  2. Dublin4 has been ridiculously hard to get tickets for, so I would expect a ticket drop somewhere next week.
  3. We know already that the current stage will fit in the 3Arena, but there is one detail that haven't discussed yet: the E-Stage will not be at the end of the catwalk, but in the middle of it, right UNDER the screen. I'm wondering if this leads into some changes into setlist/show? Especially the part in the setlist from "UTEOTW" til EBTTRT can't be done the way they usually do with Bono on the E-stage, screen down, Bono entering the screen, band coming out again of the screen on to the E-stage,...

Who says that the screen will be above the catwalk?
  5. If you have a look on the price ranges, I think we can be sure the screen will be above the catwalk as usual. Block D-L were the very cheap tickets with restricted view. Block K, M,... were the seats in the 75-100 euro range. Seats in block J, B, N,... were the very expensive ones.

In that case it makes sense yes, I also had a working theory it would be above the main stage but hten D-L isn't exactly limited view..

Maybe they just shorten the screen, so it ends before the e-stage.
  7. If you go to the mobile website of Ticketmaster.ie, you can search for tickets, choose a block, and then you will see the different prices ranges for your selected block. This is very handful to have an idea how price ranges are located over the arena. Remarkable is that some blocks (e.g. block B or F) have the the very expensive tickets AND the very cheap tickets. So some seats in those blocks (the lower rows?) will have a restricted view while the rest of those blocks will have a fully perfect view...
  8. There we go..

EDGE: MORE TICKETS MAY BECOME AVAILABLE FOR U2'S IRISH SHOWS

Fans should be on the alert for last minute Belfast & Dublin releases

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 12 Nov 2015, 14:30

Edge has told fans to watch out for last minute extra tickets for U2’s sellout Irish shows.
“We always hold back a few tickets as we’re not sure exactly where our seat-kills are going to be, because the production is such a novel approach that no-one actually knows ahead of time, until the production goes up, where are the seats that have to be killed because of sightline problems,” he tells Hot Press in an exclusive interview. “We are always conservative on that. Once the production is locked in, in a venue, then we can release the tickets. So there has been, from time to time, a few last minute releases.”

With a small batch of extra Belfast tickets being made available last week, fans should definitely keep checking Ticketmaster… just in case!
  9. Apparently fans were able to buy some Dublin 1 GA's yesterday on Ticketmaster.ie.
  10. Yeah, there was a small drop yesterday. Some folks got GAs for Dub1 and 2 and a guy got a seat for Dub4.
  11. Check in regularly then. Urgh!
  12. Apparently there's a ticket drop for Dublin 4.
