It's not about believing Bono's theology might be different to mine. Most likely it is. Everyone's is. Every Christian sees Christ in a slightly different way and approaches him on a different road. Who cares? We should follow Christ anyway, not any human being like Bono or me.

It's about accepting him as a brother in Christ. People who claim to be Christian but don't accept their brothers and sisters have not much of an understanding of Christianity.

On one point or the other we all have to learn to "agree to disagree". Even as believers.

I'm born Christian but I don't consider myself as one. I consider that I'm believer because faith is something much bigger than being part of some religion.

Even if you're not believer, the idea of Jesus is just something so powerful, so...big.

The Church for me just isn't worthy to represent Jesus and Christian faith because she (Church) done some bad and evil things trough history...just remember Holy Wars for beginning ...

i know what you mean and thats why i change churches.
  4. "Church" is a word with a double meaning.

First it represents the body of Christ - this means that every Christian belongs to the biblical church, if he wants to or not.

Second it represents human organisations with membership, pastors, houses, etc. Most of these organisations have done a lot of good things, some have also done a lot of bad things.

So every Christian believer is a member of the biblical church, no matter if he attends the sunday service in a church building and organisation or not. I'm also an active member in a church organisation because I believe Jesus wants us to have fellowship together and celebrate God. I see that in the biblical book of acts.

  5. I also don't think anyone can be Christian without believing Jesus was really the Christ (Messiah, Son of God) who died by free will for humanity's sins. So no one can be "born" christian. You can only be born into a Christian family or into a Christian church organisation, not into the body of Christ. You can only enter the body of Christ by faith and grace, not by birth. You cannot be Christian without accepting Jesus as the Christ. If you don't believe that, you're no part of his body. Simple as that.

Of course you don't have to be a Christian to be a nice person or to do good things according to the will of God.

HI. I've copied this page and will submit it to the administrators of youtube should there ever be a "problem."

This kind of gang-plot INJUSTICE you've suggested is evidence of having no REAL godliness; and only further proves what I've said to be right about U2-idolater fans.
