    Did you attend U2’s 360° tour? Do you want to help develop a better understanding of the greatest rock spectacle in history?

    My name is Michael Williams, and I am a long-time U2 fan (since 1982). Currently, I am also a doctoral candidate, researching rock music events, focusing on U2’s 360° tour.

    I am seeking participants to contribute to my research, which aims to develop a better understanding of the concept of spectacle in the context of a rock music event. Answering this question will provide a better understanding of the role of the fans in creating a spectacle and the relationship between music, audiences and politics. I am keen to interview people with varying experiences of U2’s 360° shows in Dublin, Istanbul, Moscow and Pittsburgh.

  2. Hey now Michael. If you're interested in people who went to one of the 360 shows here in Australia, I'd be happy to help you out as much as possible.

    What will your research contribute to e.g. a book, a website, video, interactive material and when would you be interested in publishing your findings?

  5. I saw the last seven of 2009 and all but Minneapolis, MN after East Lansing, MO in 2011.
  6. I was at all 3 Dublin shows and happy to assist.
