1. I saw ACDC last night. It was weird, I only saw about 3 cell phones during the entire show.

And as far as me (videoguy) goes? I camera is NOT above my head, and I have a 3M privacy filter on my screen, so it's black/not visible to almost everyone but me.
I was mostly kidding, Chris. As i said on my first post in this thread, in my opinion those who record for archiving and/or sharing reasons like us should be "forgiven" in a sense. But those who take 50 blurry pics and videos for the only purpose of selecting the less crappy and uploading it to their social media to say "I was there" and then delete all pics and vids after two weeks when they run outof space.... aaaah burn in hell

I watched a part of the Sydney ZOO TV video last weekend. The difference in crowd behaviour is huge.
    It really is striking.

However, I'm not sure one was even allowed to bring cameras into the shows during the ZOOTV era.
  4. Cameras weren't officially allowed back then - and they aren't now either
  5. It was big time taboo to use them (cameras) back then. Grounds for dismissal in many cases.
  6. Overuse?

  8. I usually hate them, and I'm convinced that we would be better off without 90% of them.
But I thought that they actually looked kinda nice in the Paris pro-shot videos (or at least the ones I've managed to watch on youtube)... I don't know but the phones seemed to add to the scene somehow.

    Hell yeah.

I hope they hand these at the entrance of the venue for the upcoming U2 shows:
