1. I camped out for the 87 Fall tour with buddies. A group of us aged 15-17 camped out just 1 night at a record store as that's all it took.

Was a lot of fun till about 3 or 4 in the morning when our buzz started to wear off but then we started up again about 6 am and soldiered through till the 10am on sale time.

Got our tickets and went home to sleep all day.

Nothing super exciting, but a fun coming of age experience for us.

I don't live in that area anymore, but stopped to get gas on the way to Chicago 1 last week pretty close to where that record store used to be. Had a moment remembering...

I won't bother to post the stubs as they are the boring TM ones just like the others that have been shown here.

Not super exciting for sure, but an adventure... and memories. Right?

Cool story! I started to get worried you were gonna say "when I moved back home the next summer, the tickets had gone missing!" Whew! Glad you were able to make the show. Things have a way of working themselves out. The rescheduled shows allowed me to travel to see the Miami show...

People still couldn't get over the fact I had bought tickets almost a year in advance and that I had the physical tickets sitting in my room (albeit in a sealed envelope taped to my wall) for almost a year.
