I think this tokyo 2 iem was worked from outside with an SDR rig. A lot of static and hiss in ways you wouldn't get recording inside.

You underestimate how many people like IEM's, regardless of quality. Many of my friends take a 2-star IEM over a 4-star audience any day.

Go listen to Exit and One from the Tokyo 2 IEM recording. Just marred with static and fuzz. And then the whole recording is shrill and littered with static bursts or compression artifacts.
Just me--I'd rather have the clean schopes AUD recording.
