  3. Miami into BTBS on PopMart. Mofo into I Will Follow on PopMart. Please into Streets on Popmart. Everything on PopMart had a distinctly different sound than all other tours.

    I'm also always, ALWAYS listening to mysterious ways first on any bootleg I download, if it's in the set. I quite liked the 360 remake, with the second "it's alri-i-IGHT" where they sing it somewhat higher? they don't do that anymore this tour. same goes for the guitar strumming at the "one day you will look back" part. it's much more prominent now than it used to be.

    also, when love comes to town during zoo tv. bono changed up the "yeah yeah yeah" part, which I like a lot. and ofc without BB, the guitar part is different.

    Thats one of the things I really loved about PM was the flow. Virtually every song flowed into the next almost perfectly.

    BB (RIP) added so much so such a small portion of the LT shows but those tunes could never be properly recreated without him.
  7. I would say Mysterious Ways (1992-2005) with the extended slide solo. That is actually one of my favorite Edge solos.

  9. Kite from the Australian Leg of the Vertigo Tour was pretty remarkable as well. The version on the City of Blinding Lights(??) single is inexplicably fantastic.
  10. I thought the 05 version of Mysterious Ways was their best - sue me. The extended soloing by Edge toward the end of the song (like when Bono is dancing with the woman on the Chicago DVD) is so much fun to groove to.

    But, as its already been mentioned, the best recreation of all time is The Fly from 2001. Stunning.
  11. I know Elevation is far from being a well loved song, but I liked the Vertigo (?) version, with the "slow" start, delaying the moment of going full band on it.

    Agree on Elevation's Fly being great.

    Bullet is the most versatile one... every tour it's been different, and there's always a great lead up to it, either if it's Bad, Miami or Every Breaking Waaaaaaaaaaaave.
    (Vertigo version is totally neutered, but I can enjoy it in a more bluesy relax kind of way... I would've liked to listen to it surrounded with different songs, but the whole segment was really slow and it became boring).

    I 100% agree. Neutered is an interesting and apt way to put it. The flexibility Edge has had with various tunes over the years has been great, and really shows their ability to elevate studio tracks. I think back to "Love Is Blindness" on the ZooTV/'ropa tours as a perfect example.
