  5. Also, did people know or have and idea that October was coming in night 1? In this day and age, everybody knows what the band is even thinking about soundchecking, so it's hard to really pull off surprises like that.
  6. They have a super-secret room where they rehearse such songs, according to an interview.
  7. Does that room have a TV so they can rewatch the Vertigo DVD to remind themselves that they do know how to play Miracle Drug?
  8. I never had too many issues with Miracle Drug in Vancouver. Particularly for a first outing.

    Rumours were rampant before the show began, ranging from the band being joined on stage by Bruce Springsteen, to US President Barack Obama being in attendance. Also rumoured was the inclusion of October being on the setlist. One of the three rumours, at least, proved to be true, as October made its first appearance in a U2 setlist in 25 years, 8 months, and 7 days (or 9,380 days). It was last played on 11 November 1989 on the Lovetown Tour.

  11. And Bruce did come onstage... on a local bar in NJ.
  12. Obama was probably in attendance somewhere, so 100% rumors proved to be true.
