Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 1
  1. This is U2 realizing that going on tour without an opening act might not have been the greatest idea...
  2. Sure, but still. I also don't see any link between Gaga and U2. Like I said, she does have talent and really can sing but why does she needs to come on stage at an U2 show? I would rather have heard something they haven't played before or something.
  3. She was probably there and Bono said "hey let's do something cool." Kinda like what they did with Fallon.

Also, I said her outfit was tame before I saw the shoes. I'm actually impressed with how she's able to walk in those.
  4. Maybe Bono should notice the band and say ''hey guys, let's do something cool tonight''
  5. The presence of Lady Gaga is for me a very very BAD surprise.
And the snippets are too much (in each song), but i think it was another great concert.
Snippets don't leave the possibility to the audience to listen to a complete song from incipit to refrain to the end.
It was better Jimmy Page on stage than Lady Gaga, but i hope the Boss will be there in one of the next and last 3 concerts. Bye everybody and sorry for my english.

Second half started ok with invisible and even better and mysterious ways always makes me nauseous. Saw the guitar come out for elevation and lost all enthusiasm for the show. Ordinary love with gaga was actually close to the highlight of the second half for me. Every breaking wave was nice and crowd sung loud. Back to bullet straight after suggested a DVD show to me. Crowd loved with or without you as usual. Bono read most of streets off the prompter, another pointer to some sort of DVD show for me. Streets with the mostly correct lyrics and a loud crowd was my second half highlight. Noticed edge had something on the end of his guitar in the first half every couple songs that looked like a camera too, never noticed before. Show needed bad or 40 and suffered from it.

    Interesting remarks!

Agree that show was one song short (have to check, but I think this was the shortest NYC show)
  7. EVERY BREAKING WAVE EVERY SINGLE NIGHT
  8. Highly doubt there'll be any changes to the show, don't get me wrong looks incredible, but we really need them to bring in a few tour debuts before they hit Europe. Would like to say there'll be a few changes, but I don't see it.

That being said, I hope Bullet stays, brilliant song, but the segment at the end and the Hands snippet will need to be changed. Don't think Europeans, especially British will like to be told to act like Americans.
  9. To be consistent, u2gigs should add "Jump" by Kris Kros to Sunday Bloody Sunday, seriously!

  10. Pointless to have 8 shows in the same city when they are almost identical... I really hope they won't make a DVD out of this - it would be so convenient for them (many takes, big room for errors), let's hope Europe will be more interesting... that encore is so uninspiring, how come they don't see it
  11. DVD is apparently in Paris. I also hope they try out more rarities/tour debuts. Let's be honest, if they try it out and it goes tits up, what have they got to lose? I think there will be changes to the set when they hit Europe, how many I am not sure.
