  1. Love you all but can we take this to the political discussion? Reading through pages of this and Mindless Bruce bashing is taking the fun out of this thread.

I wouldn't say that about Bono though, I think he still sounds great most of the time. He knows when he can no longer sing a song and they either change it or they don't bother at all.

I've never liked Springsteen's music and never understood why people love him so much though. I just think it's bland, unimaginative and so blue-collar it's cringe-worthy. Not that there's anything wrong with being blue-collar, but he's not.
Your "opinion" is definitely the minority. Enough with this. Guy could sell out any venue in any country at any time. Like him or not. Move on Anything new to add regarding the NY shows?

And its frustrating that so many entertainers are extremely liberal, and are just so dismissive of, and treat conservatives with such disdain.

I think it was in 2004, Bono was on with Bill O'Reilly, and they were discussing George W Bush. Bono had many positive things to say about W, due to the tremendous amount of money W was pushing to Africa for anti-AIDS programs.

And it as so refreshing to hear an entertainer just talk like a normal person and recognize the positives.

(NOTE: I'm NOT trying to start a political debate. Thanks.)
Be careful. There are some in here that might want to crucify you, just for mentioning those two names... The mention of a thank you to Rupert Murdoch the other night set some folks off into a tizzy...

But I'm with MoFoNYR5... We should get back to the topic at hand... U2 hits New York.

What do you think they are up to on their days off in the Big Apple?
