I agree, looks like spain at the swimming pool, people claim there seat at the pool with a towel the night before

^^ yeah, true. Remember AMS2 in 2009, Jana? we got there early, I got my number in the GA line, and then we went for our morning Coke and afterwards I took you to the station and all.... returned much later -- and totally ended up front line tactic, I say

wow, you know what, I totally don't remember this at ALL my brain... but tbh, I'm not a fan of this procedure, if people get their number the night before or early morning, then leave the whole day to come back at 5pm or something

    True. Lived that.

I'm not a fan of these procedures either. If you want to queue long, then QUEUE LONG. I'm all for noting names and writing numbers but don't disappear for the whole day - not only because it can piss other people, but because you miss the fun of queuing too!
  5. I am in for getting your place and number and leave now and then for getting a drink or going to the restroom-sort-of-thing. But mainly, it is about queuing in means of staying in the queue, and getting to know the other fans around you. Best of times.
  6. oops, a thought just popped up inside me mind..... will there be a queue for the meet-up as well?! omg have to be there early
  7. Of course. I will camp there the night before, with guitar and free cookies for everyone
  8. Reminder for everyone - 27 hours to go!

It would be great if any of you could carry something like this in order to identify ourselves a little easier!

  9. As I live in Amsterdam I will probably be there as well won't make it too late though, have to work early on Saturday. Looking forward to it!

    ...sure...very nicely made...

But eh...I'm the big girl wearing a yellow Crystal Ballroom shirt

Anyway, some of us will be dining at Kantjil before the meet up...
They serve very nice Indonesian food - the best "local" Dutch multi-culti food there is! - for very affordable prices (for less than 20 euro's you will have a meal + drink and perhaps even some coffee for desert!)

Just saying...you can join us of course. Think we'll gather at 6

    Details: Kantjil & de Tijger
Location: Spui/Spuistraat [Tram 1 or 2 or 5, stop "Spui"]
The place should be spotted when you step out of the tram...

(if you want to attend and have a phone number "just in case," please send me a pm)
