Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Legs (3): Leg 1 - North America, Leg 2 - Europe, Leg 3 - The Americas
Shows: 52
  1. I completely understand but don't agree with a lot of the negativity surrounding this tour. If they re release the album again then I'd be a bit more disappointed in that, and they might do that, but the band will still be doing there work which is performing shows, just because it's to celebrate one of there best albums doesn't make it a cheap idea and if it's performed in its entirety then that is something new for a large chunk of there fans who were born in the 80's onwards as most of us probably haven't seen about half the album live in person. If anything there working themselves harder by playing these shows instead of taking more time off to finish SOE and wait til after it's release to tour. As long as when it does come out we still get 6 or 7 songs from it a show I'll be happy waiting.
  2. Well, I was hoping for Pop Super Deluxe anniversary. New songs. And new indoor shows. I don't like the ArenA in Amsterdam.
  3. I'll definitely attend the Amsterdam shows, see you there, Remy

Yes, that's what I mean. After 25 years without playing at festivals, Glasto dragged them for one more performance. Right. But I think it was commonly accepted that the performance and experience weren't totally satisfactory for them, so it's really strange they've accepted to play at a (smaller) festival this time.

The only thing they didn't like as far as I can recall was the height of the stage & the distance from the crowd so maybe a smaller festival will be better ?

  6. Of course we all know how this will go. Remember the 2 different setlists for the last tour anyone ? 12/5/17 Vancouver: Streets, Found, Without you, Bullet, Running, ELEVATION, Beautiful day blah blah blah !!!
  7. I doubt U2 can play the album like it was in the 80's and in full live. I predict it will be more a greatest hits show. Anyway, those who will go, enjoy!
  8. If they do it right it will be great and we can look forward to the Zoo TV 2021 tour !!

  9. I'll hope for Dublin in August...or anything else in August...
otherwise will it be a USA concert.

That would be quite disappointing if it was just they 5 from the album, there's no reason for them not to play mothers, in gods country and one tree hill. I would love to have been there for some of the recent performances of they songs, at least there was some good quality bootlegs from Munich and Miami for the first two and u22 for one tree hill.

My first show was Cork '87 but it was 30 years ago so I'd love to see Trip, Exit & God's country again. I haven't seen One tree hill since '89. I'd love to see Mothers & of course Red Hill would be amazing but I'm not holding my breath !!
