    I agree with this 100%, before the election I can understand even though it's not something I enjoy but if they're doing it out of protest all they're protesting at is democracy. Plus the time they spend criticising trump could allow for another song by cutting BTBS down to its original 4 and a half mins, when it's at it's best.

    Nahh no way. It will be an even more of a greatest hits show then we've already seen. Maybe they'll throw in some lesser played songs from JT like OTH or IGC but I really don't see them playing the whole album or some rare songs from before JT.

    I'm not very happy about this, also considering the contract with Live Nation someone came up with, it feels forced and I'm not really interested in this kinda tours. Springsteen did the same with The River, but at least there you can be sure he played the album in full and threw in some other rare stuff.
  4. I'm pretty sure the band knew what they were getting in to when they cancelled the 2016 tour.
  6. There was rumours that they were going to play European arenas but that never happened.

    They probably booked venues and realised that SOE was taking longer than expected.
  7. The upcoming tour photo is taken at Hagen beach, in september 2015. So I don't think so.

    And they made photo's in JT- style for SOE? So you believe Bono? This is a very important issue to me as a U2fan.

    I'm not sure "fair and square" are the right terms to use here. I do get what you mean though. But I also think now more than ever artists need to use their voices.

    I believe they took 20398489 pics as usual in every photo shoot, and they geniunely meant one of them to be the cover of the next album. When they realized the album wasn't ready on time for their 2016 tour, they recicled that photo session for whatever project they had upcoming. That was the TJT30 Tour, and they found a pic that ressembled 1987's TJT cover, so they used it.
