Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Legs (3): Leg 1 - North America, Leg 2 - Europe, Leg 3 - The Americas
Shows: 52
  1. Listening to Adam interview he hints that some new songs might be included in live set as well as Soi stuff
  2. He said they won't know for sure anything until they meet with production team and start rehearsing
  3. Monty Python U2 - Contractual Obligation Album Tour.

Whatever. Sooo glad to see them do this!
  4. This is the only tour I can say I'd be happy for them to play the exact same setlist every night. I really never thought I'd see most of the Joshua Tree songs live ever and now the chance to see them all in one go is too much to miss. Red Hill Mining Town and One Tree Hill are going to be particularly special for me.
  5. I think there is a good oppurtunity to play in some SOE material during these shows if they fancy it. They are touring the album that made them what they are. That could play inb nicely with the whole 'Experience' thing. The songs sound like they are complete though so will they want these new songs out there before the album?

    Interesting times.
  6. 30 years ago, in july 1987, I saw U2 for the first time live in Feyenoord Stadium Rotterdam. I never could have imagined then, that 30 year later, I would see the Joshua Tree tour once again... really weird.

I saw them a week later in Montpellier! Not for the 1st time though.

  8. As for saving the pre-sale codes, I really wouldn't want to give you a bad advice, it is really impossible to estimate how the general sale will be. As I wrote, I remember that getting GA for the I+E arena shows was really easy. On the other hand, I also remember it was way more difficult with the 360 stadium GA tickets. I remember that getting 1 GA for Vienna in 2010 was really stressful, but it was special, since they put Vienna as the very first and only date on sale from all those 2010 European shows. So the demand was extraordinary.
Anyway, I also hope to see you again, I hope we will arrange some "meeting" in front of the stadium to spend the long waiting together

I know its fine! Yes we should & will, thanks!
  10. Do we think, not just for this Tour but also for SOE and hopefully more to come, the songs from SOI will be played at all? I don't really see one of them surviving, except maybe EBW in a kind of Stay way.

I think your probably right with maybe only EBW surviving, although song for someone wouldn't be an impossibility and California got played last time out so they might feel there's something they could do with that one.
  12. Oh my goodness this is so exciting
