  1. Wow, what a day! The Edge article in Rolling Stone is helping me see this not as a nostalgia act, which I was worried about, but more like he said as a "full circle" re-imagining of the album's significance for our current political situation. Interesting stuff.

Hoping to score tickets to Chicago, and maybe Cleveland, too. I feel spoiled here in the American Midwest.
  2. Not too sure. Potentially just for safety as it is a much bigger GA than most stadiums. Do any of the other stadium charts have the pitch split?
  3. I think DVD will be shot in Dublin?

    Twickenham doesn't.

It certainly is a clever twist he made there... , I almost fell for it. But it's just clever marketing to me and opportunistic arguments. If SOE was finished in time, this would never have happened.

But hey, who cares, there's a pre-sale coming up!

Reminds me of Rogers Waters touring again with The Wall and it being 'more relevant than ever', he was probably right and it was a pretty kick arse show, but money was most likely more of a factor.
  7. Yes that's it, in 2 days the pre-sale. Let's go for it. I enjoy it all. This is unique, very special for U2 and the fans.
  8. I reckon it's just due to the width of Croke. They will likely fence up across the field a few rows back of the b-stage just to crowd control down the sides of the stage. It should still be a first come first serve for positions.
  9. Still no seatplan for Amsterdam Arena :-(

What if there is an extra day, will we get a new pre-sale-code?
  10. Would the Red Zone really be that large and cover whole area in front of Edge's side of the stage?
  11. Probably not. It's subject to change, I guess.
  12. Remember the IE seating charts where the Red Zone took almost half of the GA and always a critical position... in the end it was just a small area at the sides of the main stage, not worth the spending (in terms of GA spot, that is)
