I'm with Remy. Rumour after rumour after rumour, something ends up being true. Nah

Of course... I'm ot saying it's credible, or that I believe it. By feasible I mean at least there was some effort put into this one (citing sources, etc...) However, this would be the most ideal scenario for me, as I'm hoping no tickets go sale before the first of the year here in the States for financial reasons!
  3. Not complete, if you're talking about the intro. The song itself is complete at the end.

Too true. That being said, if they do want to continue this "Innocence and Experience" thing as one big campaign, starting the tour up again next year would be like the latest they could do it while it's still in people's minds. Album out this Fall, tour early next year...everything we've heard so far are probably rumours, but timeline-wise it sounds about right.

Not to mention the amount of legitimate whispers we've been hearing about SoE lately, and that quote in that recent Edge interview about how they're planning an album release by the end of the year.

    automatic translation by FB:

U2 will start his tour in South America, March 2017
For the first time, the return to the stage of ‪#‎u2‬ will be in South America, where they're premiering "songs of experience".

In the month of March, the Irish will debut to the continuation of the innocence + experience tour. This time in format 'Outdoors' (open stadiums), The tour will start in South America where will premiere to the songs of "songs of experience", Their next album.

sources close to Live Nation (producer of the concerts of U2, Madonna The Rolling Stones, among others) have informed us that the tour planned for North America in the period September - November 2016 is suspended and that the band will return to the stage until the beginning of 2017 and in South American soil!

According to tell us, the more likely it is that the tour start in Buenos Aires, in the Estadio Unico, where the book of the enclosure for the first half of March, enough time to perfect the show prior to the concerts. Then it would lead to Chile, Brazil, and as we passed earlier, possibly Colombia and Peru.
This is how, for the first time, the band will premiere a new material in South American territory, something that had never happened before.

With regard to Latin America, the cities of interest are:
    • Argentina: Buenos Aires
    • Chile: Santiago
    • Brazil: Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, belo horizonte
    • Peru: Lima
    • Colombia: Bogotá
    • Mexico: Mexico city

The tour would maintain the format of dates pairs, with 2 concerts by city, except in Buenos Aires where there is the possibility of two pairs of shows (4).

They're saying this since february/march.. now they have a "confirmation" from their sources and more details as we can see
  6. Anybody have The Electric Co. and Out of Control performance videos from the bonus content? I'd love to see how it is on the DVD, since I do not have this edition
  7. guess why i posted it in the RUMOR thread. the south american fanclubs have always been very creative and diligent in posting such "facts".

  8. I have wondered about this lately, too...and seeing as we are in the midst of rumors but no real news yet, we might as well speculate!

Seeing as the show in 2015 seemed structured as SOI songs in first half for Innocence and then older classics mostly in the second half for Experience, would they be able to just trade out some SOI songs for SOE songs? Or would that throw the whole narrative arc of the show itself off? Possibly they rotate some older classics out in the second half in favor of SOE, but how many fan favorites can they afford to do that with?

...Or if the rumors of outdoor shows are true, will we see an entirely different kind of show, albeit still under the "Innocence and Experience" name?
  9. I'd be curious how they'd engineer the screen to hang from something other than indoor scaffolding. I feel like the structure required to support it would ruin sightlines in an outdoor, open space.

Not saying it can't be done, because this is U2 we're talking about, but it makes me wonder. Wouldn't mind them ditching the screen entirely, tbh.

  11. the fact is that the reserve stadium for March 2017 for u2 has been done ... to start the tour or not in southamerica is another thing ....
