1. LikeASong - please reconsider. Those who listen to IEM recordings understand that there will be click tracks.

if you read my original post you would know what I am talking about. Bands will often mix in some crowd noise to their IEM's. There is a brand of IEM's that actually come with a mic in them to get some of the crowd noise that they can mix into their feeds. Several Reddit feeds like this one that go into greater detail https://m.reddit.com/r/livesound/comments/1wi1lh/mixing_crowd_mics_into_iem_mixes/
  3. I did...the audience, meaning the yellers and clappers etc that you hear in this recording are from the audience recording, not an element mixed into the iem feed..

So say you. If there were mics in the audience they would pick up yellers and clappers that are fed back into the IEM. This is actually desirable for the band to have some audience sounds in the IEM. As I posted earlier: https://m.reddit.com/r/livesound/comments/1wi1lh/mixing_crowd_mics_into_iem_mixes/
  5. Sorry, you apparently haven't listened to many (if any) u2 iems...
  6. Bands (if they prefer so) mix only overall audience sound in their cans at some spots, not close clappers or yellers
But I think you and some other people don't get the point: None of which you desire at the uttermost will be thrown out in the wild, so your behaviour makes no sense at all and should be reconsidered.
  7. Here we go with the know it all approach - I have listened to pretty much all the IEM's both on this site and a few other places. But this is the first one on this tour. As you didn't tape it your speculation is as good as mine.

Again, so say you. I actually play in a band. And use IEM's. Not sure why you think people won't post IEM's. At least one person has. And what is the harm in asking?

  9. except that three iem tapers posted in your thread so not everything is speculation...
  10. If they recorded this one and chose to make it known then great. I am happy to stand corrected. BTW, not my thread. And a big thank you to the person who originally did post this IEM.
