  1. If they use the Dutch broadcast they will have a great live dvd / blu ray.
    I still think it´s a shame that The Fly (intermission) was not in the broadcast.
    Besides a edit in Bad what else was edited in this broadcast ?
  2. How much did they cut from Bad? I don't really mind them cutting the flag blooper ( ), I'm worried about the song itself...
  3. Maybe just the broadcast was cut. I hope they'll release a complete DVD.

    But it's likely they'll cut even more....

    Elevation got cut, the ending. In the HBO broadcast Bono hugs U2brothr/Mark Baker and says "dude". This is all cut and the goodbyes with the fans are much shorter.

    Maybe more but these two were easy to spot.
  5. They cut the whole flag scene. But since that lasts some time and you can see Larry laughing a lot while it happens its quite a lot gone from the song in terms of music and great moments.
  6. Watching the French broadcast right now. It's noticeably accelerated. I don't know if it was the case on the Dutch broadcast, but it's quite annoying to be honest.

    Didn't really notice but it but then I'm quite ignorant when it comes to such matters
  8. for example on french TV : "I will follow" duration is 4'01 and on HBO it was 4'13...I agree with Thib6992 : very very annoying and difficult to watch

    I see. The total duration is also like 10-15 minutes less than the HBO version. I didn't notice it to be honest but it's shit for sure. Why keep editing an original show to the point where it no longer represents the show itself
  10. Is it really edited? Isn't it the PAL / NTSC transfer, in which case the speed is actually different and so is the pitch? Most people (incl. me) don't even notice it, but I have heard, that people with absolute hearing really suffer.
  11. RTE didn't cut anything as far as I noticed although the flag bit was edited out alright. Great edit though I must say
