I saw that during Meerkat and it was pretty badass but been cut from the broadcast - you get to see in that moment the Edge instead walking back to the stage.

It's the original, straight from HBO transport stream. If the audio is screwy on that file, then there's no good version until someone manually fixes it and does a re-upload. My suspicion would be that it's fine though, and the 720p version just got mangled in compression.
