1. Suede are still going strong, they released a new album last week which I'm yet to check out. Their album released prior to that, Bloodsports, was a much welcomed return and probably their best album since Coming Up in 1996. Dog Man Star (1994) and Coming Up are their best albums in my opinion. Brett Anderson has such a unique voice. I'm not a huge fan of Manic Street Preachers or James, I own a greatest hits collection for James and the odd MSP album. I do love The Smiths (and Morrissey / Johhny Marr solo) though.

  5. Yes, his second album, Head in the Dirt, was recorded with Dan Auerbach. I think I was listening to a Dan Auerbach/Black Keys playlist of similar artists on Last.fm when I first heard "Come Alive", from his first album.
