  1. Hi everyone. I've just finished mixing 3 cd's of some of my fav U2 live tracks, all mixed in together as if performed at one show. Part one is now up on Youtube and I wanted to share it here, I'll be putting parts two and three up in the next week.

    I've taken them from various sources mostly already released. As they were originally intended to be put on cd I had to be mindful to keep them within 80 mins for each part (I did have to make some edits but hopefully nothing too drastic). I also wanted it to flow as if it would be in a "fantasy gig". There are some rare songs in there popping up every now and then as I didn't want it be full of the usual songs we hear all the time.

  4. Did you use official material such as U22 or Edge's Picks for that compilation? If so, be careful, as you may be violating copyrights in Youtube and they may take that video down.

    I know Harm also made a compilation like this. It's been up for about 9 months by now, it contains only material from official releases. Only 855 hits though..

    A few but we'll see how it goes. I'm not that bothered about how many hits I get. Just wanted people to enjoy the mixes i've done.

    No, It's not about the hits. I just wanted to use the rather small amount of hits to (maybe) find an explanation for the fact that the video wasn't deleted by Youtube. MOFO into Iris is amazing by the way. I've always wanted to combine the two myself one day. Great compilation

  12. I've done mixes like this before... Loads I love making them and forcing my ear into thinking which song could go after each other. On one hand is easier with live recordings since you can mergue the audience sound and the transitions are handier, but on the other hand it can be a mess since audience recordings sound too different from each other. You have achieved a great, great balance
