I think it would've performed a little better but as a Kygo song not a u2 song. That's how people would and will see it unfortunately. I don't think that's what u2 want and that's probably why I think they've insisted on there version being released first so that gets the initial attention.

I guess what I meant was, U2 should've paid Kygo to produce this version for them and be credited as such. Let U2 take the artist credit and he take the producer credit, thus still making it a U2 release.
