  1. For whatever reason they took the gig, I'm happy they did. I enjoyed every second of it, it's just amazing to have them on stage again. Desire was amazing, never expected that! Happy to hear the 'Hear Us Coming Lord' snippet again as well. Solid performance with some struggles for Bono. Can't wait to have some quality recordings! I absolutely do not regret getting up (a bit) earlier than I had planned to get up.

  11. why do you think U2 did this gig??? It sure doesn't seem like they are in the same genre as the other acts? Do you think they were made an offer $ they couldn't refuse?
    I am bummed out I stayed up way way past my bedtime and lost sleep first waiting to see them on video and then even staying up later to hear the audio when i figured out the video stream had stopped. I am happy our lads are still rocking the house but i was hoping for a bit of something new......overall.....i am disappointed.( and now sleep deprived) and i am not sure it was worth it.
