  1. It's sensitive because it is unannounced information that will remain a surprise until the moment it happens, I'm just trying to hype you guys up to realize that some movement with new U2 songs might be closer than you think.

I obviously can't go into more detail publicly without potentially putting my career on the line.
  2. Looking more and more like Vertigo

Fair enough, but you're saying there may or may not be another u2 gig in a period of two weeks?
  4. From what I understand, it will not be a headlining performance by U2. Just a live debut of the song. Think of it more as an appearance.

Nice! How did you get the information?
  6. Could very well be a screen test with just pre-programmed visuals, I wouldn't be surprised to see some re-used I&E visuals broadcast on that screen for particular songs (Joshua Tree at sunset during WOWY, Light maps during COBL if played, etc.)

Also, if they are ever going to play the revamped Miracle Drug again, now is the time. Doubtful, but could happen given the context.
  7. So I guess from info from MattG "the best thing" is likely the new single. Which is fine but suprising just because I'm surprised u2 let the DJ premiere it before they did.

I wonder if it was possibly done at least in part as a way of them getting a little bit of feedback as to what people might think.
