  1. I think the biggest difference with bono's stance this time is it isn't actually to make a difference as such. You could argue that by trump not getting in it makes a difference but not really, is trump really going to be able to build his wall? Stop all Muslims coming into the country? Open up all these steel industries again? Don't think so. It really won't make a huge difference whether trump or Clinton get in. His previous stances have been about stopping injustices that are actually happening and helping others in general, this is more a personal attack on someone. Don't get me wrong in not a fan of trump or Clinton and I think the song was fine, he's not breaking any laws by having a n opinion but I personally think there are bigger fish to fry than the u.s. election where you are basically chosing which puppet to 'hold power' in the White House.

Do you want him to influence more ideas that dont work? BTW how many refugees does Bono have living at his homes? Or if he thinks Trump is corrupt, which he is, hows come U2 moved their business to the Netherlands as soon as they couldnt use the corporate tax loophole in the 90s? Which is a good reason for them not to say these things
    Opening a business (and paying taxes) in the Netherlands (AND IRELAND ) isn't Illegal nor corrupt

    No the large part of the US populace has seen what happens when career politicians come with ideas that dont work by looking at Europe. A place that is great but no longer safe and we dont want that. We dont want terrorism to be as wide spread here as it is over there. But because of stupid ideas that put our country at risk we are seeing a rise in terrorism here
