1. You just go with your friend.
Sure it has other disadvantages. These arguments are always brought up by Ticketmaster when there is fuzz about unethical selling of tickets and they are asked to do something about it.
  2. Tickets for Barcelona are personalized, which is good, I think.

And it is possible to buy for others as a gift e.g., you just have to use that other name when buying those tickets. It won't stop the touts 100%, sure, but it's a start.
  3. Bill being proposed in Ireland since August preventing resale of tickets with any increase or added surcharge. €3,000 fine.

They'll need to back it up with an online police presence/ working with ticketmaster.

and Barcelona is the Only European show which is not sold out (so far). Maybe the naming scares the scalpers?!
  5. Or that Spain isn't in a great economic position at the minute. No doubt it's only the top price tickets that are left in any great quantities.

Dont think economics has anything to do with it. On I+E all 4 Barcelona shows combined sold out instantly and these were roughly at the same prices.
  7. It says on the U2.com site this is the final Tour schedule for Europe. So no second Dublin and not a single show in Scandinavia, where almost all previous European tours I can think of since the October album got at least 1 Scandinavian show.
  8. I get the impression they don't want to add too many shows to this tour, they want it over and done with so they can continue with other plans they have in mind, and that's fair enough.
  9. Maybe not that fair that some places get second shows and Scandinavia left in the cold.
  10. Try being an Australian, Japanese, Mexican or South American fan.

Definitely that. Just some of the decision making is odd if they choose to neglect Dublin for a second night. It won't effect me at all as I luckily have my ticket but there will be a lot of backlash.
  12. I was discussing the European tour. Talking about continents: USA got twice as many shows as Europe in the initial schedule
Agreed that that other continents have been more underplayed by U2 for many years,
