And yes, Larry is indeed on the fourth photo!
If you upload photos to U2start you will automatically get an email within the hour with an overview of which band members our automated tool recognised, also giving you the ability to correct this. You can remove incorrectly tagged band members, or add band members which were not detected.
The tool is still running in the background and scanning our entire collection. As we collect more data, the tool will get better so we can reduce the number of "false positives" (incorrectly tagging Bono as Larry!) and increase the number of correct tags. You can already go in to your own uploaded photos from the past and start removing/adding band members.
It's sometimes very difficult for a tool to recognise four people over a period of 40 years as they change so much over the years. We have collected hundreds of photos in order to "train the algorithm" to make it better, which we'll continue on doing in the future.
