    My dads first u2 gig was your 2nd one, if I'm reading it right, barrowlands 2nd night Unforgettable Fire tour, I have the bootleg from the first night and it's amazing.

    Wow, I feel old (sort of !)...actually those Barrowlands shows were amazing, the energy, condensation dripping from the ceiling, the bouncy dance floor, the crowd...ask your Dad ! Unforgettable (Fire)

    ...and the next time I saw them so close up was on i+E at the O2...in fact even closer.

    My dad couldn't speak highly enough of the gig he was at. He was only 14 at the time but he loves all the early stuff especially war which was represented well that night. It's cool to know that the I&E setup allowed you to get closer to the action than ever before, I know I felt it was the most intimate gig they've done since I've seen them.
