If only it was the '87 version with the slow start...
Oh man, that version is the best version.
  2. Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday then.

The usual stuff, a day of rest/private rehearsals before opening night, always works like that.

I wonder if they'll let fans in as they've done other times... doubt so.
  4. one other thing about the setlist, interesting:

Other than Popmart, wasn't that an absolute last-minute panicfest? Have Edge's angry "Come on people get it together" remarks from those rehearsals ringing in my ears still. Still they pulled it off, I think they just probably needlessly stressed too much over 'Staring At The Sun' for the most part it would seem.
  6. Woohoo, that's great, we knew it really but nice to have it confirmed!
  7. Let the guessing begin!

I bet they're rehearsing Luminous Times, Spanish Eyes, Heartland, Walk To The Water and Love Comes Tumbling in private, and the 5 of them will rotate for the 2nd encore together with Acrobat and She's A Mistery To Me.

I'd settle for all of that and throw in 'Lucille' whilst they're at it.

in Barcelona 2009 they did a full rehearsal on the 29th. Rotterdam 97 they also did a full rehearsal the day before opening night. Brussels 2005 the same. Turin 2010 had a small one also. So for stadiums a rehearsal on the last day before show is not a rarity.
  11. Regarding the songs they haven't rehearsed at full volume for us all to hear it makes me think theyve got a couple of surprises like more new songs or a couple of rarities because surely if it was I will follow, out Of control or vertigo they would just rehearse them with the others and play the full setlist, it wouldn't make sense to rehearse 21 songs out of 24 say unless they have something big to hide.
