Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 4
Videos: 1
  1. Somehow I think the only way to move the show is to add more songs before the Joshua Tree meaning they'll play less after it to avoid running over.

Perhaps adding Gloria and ASOH before (although stating with SBS seems to work) and dropping the encore to 4 songs.
  2. Set will remain the same, it will be quite dull by nearly 9pm when Streets kicks in.

  3. We do! I'm staying in central London with ex-U2starter Thibaut. Near Victoria station.

Originally posted by popmarter:It would be great if they shake up the setlist for Europe they will need a longer run in to TJT as it's bright until 10.30,ASOH,Gloria,Out of control,Electric Co, need to be added instead of Elevation,Miss Sarajevo etc however knowing there lack of spontaneity it will be a miracle if that was to happen, this tour seems very similar to Popmart where very little change was done to the setlist as soon as they perfected it they didn't vary it ,for 90% who only see it once it's fine but for the hardcore traveling fans it's a drag .The latter part of the gig could do with some variation as it's a bit weak (Desire,Angel of Harlem,All I want is you,)and more songs in the first part need to be played ,20 odd songs at a stadium show is very disappointing for a band that has such a big catalogue you would expect at least 25,GnR are doing 28 a night on a much longer tour yet they have only 4 original albums.

Would love that, not counting on it though........
But mostly there are some changes in Europe
I think Electrical Storm would also do nicely
  5. 8.10pm stage time in London
  6. I think it's still unlikely for U2 to start much earlier than 9, just like in the US. Stage time is always advertised earlier.

    820 i think given strict 1030 curfew
  8. Do you think they will use the Trump video before Exit in Europe?
  9. The weather forecast for Saturday looks very good, gonna be summer
  10. Yep, I think just a few notches down or two in temperature from 2005 and more cloud cover too thankfully, The sun was brutal in 2005, especially whilst queuing in the car park area with no shade - it was torture I tell you - torture! Should be a great day though.
