2017-07-08 - London
Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 4
Videos: 1
  1. They should have done it like this, more powerfull
  2. Bad moved me to tears. No idea why, it just caught me out of the blue. Definitely Larry was more involved on It's the Little Things. The set was perfect, and the performance was excellent. Don't Look Back... was impromptu I think and was glorious. And there were JT cups!! Roll on Dublin.

Honestly I don't mind if they play Bad again tonight. It was incredibly good last night.
  4. As someone unsure about the last leg, from what I have seen London looked pretty special, that version of Bad was amazing..... The Bowie snippet sounded epic... and the crowd looked more involved especially during Streets bummer is wasnt dark.... Wish I could see it in person.
  5. Bring it on Dublin, can't wait! Only if they started a little bit later to have Streets in the dark.

Bad was tremendous... and Streets had the same effect on me with the road visuals. Very moving. The tribute to Jo Cox and all the great women of the world was also so emotional (albeit with some rather surprising people in there !)

They both moved me... and I was watching on Youtube hahaha All that clapping...... Nice to see people in the moment, although that snippet would have been awesome with all the "stars"

Is it me or is Larry more ''in there'' with this song now than during previous ones? (I have only heard the Kimmel performance to be honest and some before that)

It almost looks like Larry is doing something during that intro beat..... Hard to tell for sure. He does seem more present though. That drum machine thing is my biggest gripe with the song, otherwise I like it. Shits over most of SOI for me. While there were some decent moments here and there on SOI nothing moved me like Little Things does.

This version also has the best ending by Bono so far IMO

Honestly no idea why they keep playing elevation.

Because 95% of the crowd go absolutely nuts for it. The whole stadium was bouncing to those 3 songs last night.
  10. Amen. As much as it pains me.

I think the surprises were the result of the G20 and the VIP list. I said to the missus that if they had put up May I was walking out! Mary Robinson: now there's a leader!
  12. What did you think of Elevation?
