And that is not even including the people that decided to leave on their own and go to the back...
  2. Not surprising with the heat in the arena-is there no cooling system/HVAC when the roof is closed...?
  3. Yeah saw a lot people leaving as well. I think people should not be drinking that much alcohol while in the queue/in the stadium

It's not the alcohol. It's the heat and the crowd. A lot of people that come late want to get to the front. If you don't close certain parts, so people have a little room. You are asking for problems...
I had a couple of drinks in the afternoon. But hardly any when I was inside. And even I thought this was ridiculous. I never had that feeling before. And besides that, you can not leave to get a soda, fresh air or a toilet break because there is no way to get back...

Besides that. If you have been waiting all day and need to leave for whatever reason. You should at least be able to get back to a section close to the stage. Even if it isn't all the way back in front of the stage.

Well, this is just how it works nowadays. You should be prepared. No or just a little alcohol, drink lots of water and eat salty things and you should be allright. We were, but then we are also young and fit, so...most people who went away were older and also not that healthy looking. I agree there should be airco or free water or something, but be prepared for tough conditions and long waiting times.

GA down the front is a major trial of endurance and fitness, let's face it.

In London the heat took out many fans (30 degrees that day) it was much less packed than Amsterdam 1 GA IMHO.

We used an umbrella as a shade ! Balance energy expended and water consumed.

I don't agree, by doing this it's encouraging people who are queuing early. There was places where people were asked not to queue until a certain time and this was ignored. People are leaving shows early to get a good spot for the next night. If people turned up at a sensible time they wouldn't be dehydrated and exhausted from standing around in a queue for hours then going in to a gig that's bound to be busy knowing that they then can't leave because there so determined for a good spot.

People leaving shows early to get a good spot for the next night are the ones responsible for this. As depicted on the Vertigo DVD...
But not everyone in front are going to 20 shows during a tour. If you decide to take the effort to wait all day for the concert you should be able to leave the front of the stage and go back.
  11. So If I decide to go to the concert around 18:00 hrs and push everyone aside to get to front of the stage, is fine for you???
Sorry, I don't agree with that...

Our opinion differs, if you decide to queue for a ridiculous length of time then you have to live with the consequences. It's common sense that if you can't get to a toilet yet standing around for so long in warm conditions it's going to be very difficult/impossible to drink enough fluids. The solution don't do it, turn up when the gates open after you've had something to eat and plenty of fluids.
