1. yes i like the different feels and emotions and ranges in his voice.
That said i would love some Elvis snippets next tour.

  2. I prefer the 2017 voice, in 2005 he had a better range, but he was hoarse every show.
  3. yeah i think his voice had more range then ofcourse, but listening to the iem's for this tour i'm really enjoying the way he is sounding
  4. Obviously it's not as strong as it was 10-30 years ago but considering that he's not very far away from 60.... he sounds great.
  5. with that new Chicago recording put up from 2015, Bono sounding fantastic still great in 2017. My question is how long do you guess/think his voice will stay in decent shape for, some people by his age (bon jovi) ect have already had their chords shot. its smart that U2s tour dates are not as jam packed as other bands, the long breaks, from tour to tour, has done his voice well for the long run. their entire touring lives are no where near the level of some bands hence the singers voice's are shot and Bono seems to be at a level that most people would be rapped about in their 20's.

I hope it stays similar for another tour or 2. Will be interesting to see how he sounds at the end of 2018.

I am of the opinion he is not quite as strong right now as the first half of 2015. I think he is more hit and miss these days. Understandable. But the difference between 2015 and 2017 was not as much as 2011 to 2015. Somethings he sounded better on in 2015 than 2011 some things not so much. Eg I think he sings WOWY now better than 360, but now way he could sing MS in full.

I am worried it will go quick but who knows. They have been pretty active since 2015 so a longer rest after 2018 will be the way to go I think.

I also noticed his breathing issues at the start of 2017 became less as the JT Tour went on which is good.

The London gig last week didnt sound good to me though. He sounded VERY shouty. Hopefully that will get better once the new tour is underway. I think tracks like the little things so his current voice great but best thing and gooyow dont. Just my 2 cents

Worth a listen. I am listening right now haha. Love Bad from night one. They beter not drop it when they come to Aus. Worried they will because it has stayed in the set for a while now
  9. He is singing like a fucking bird in SOE. I wonder where all this voice was during the Joshua Tree tour
  10. Sounding Amazing in the album
  11. Keep in mind that he writes vocal parts now days that suit how his voice works now days. He’ll always sound better singing a new song than an old one because the old ones were written for a young man’s voice.

The Kimmel performance is a perfect example. He sounded OKAY on still haven’t found, but fantastic when they did Little Things.
  12. Maybe everything is from 2014.
