    I just felt the need to clarify. I'm so tired of half truths and misquotes and lines from statements being edited down to suit agendas... it's quite maddening.
  4. -Moment of Surrender is pretty damn meh - it's too long, Bono's vocals (both live and on the record) are awful, the lyrics are cringe-worthy ("atm machine"), they ripped off Pink Floyd for the chorus, I could go on.

    -The Best Thing (Kygo's version) is probably the most promising-sounding single they've had since Vertigo

    -Acrobat is overrated - it came from a jam at a soundcheck and sounds like it (in a bad way) and I think the band is right that it would be a boring part of the set if they tried it live

    -The Wanderer is meh and I wish we could've heard the version with Bono singing

    I agree with points A and D.
    B) I'm waiting for the studio version to have a better opinion
    C) I don't think it's a jam. They tried to make a noisy piece à la Sonic Youth and it quite worked because that music never belonged to U2. But yes, live could work only acoustically (as they rehearsed in '92).

  10. Confession #1: I enjoyed watching the girl paint the US flag on the barn (or whatever it was) during "Trip Through Your Wires" - it took away from me having to listen to the actual song without any distraction.

    Confession #2: I can never remember if it's "Trip Through Your Wire" or "Trip Through Your Wires."
