1. See but I agree with this sometimes, like Leeds or San Antonio or really any shows past the 1st leg. I guess it just wasn’t consistent but there were shows where Bono would kill it.
  2. Bono's voice was mostly very good on Popmart. Much better (in average) than the raspy voice he had on Elevation. There were some very off nights, but shows like Leeds, Rotterdam, Washington DC, Santiago or San Antonio have excellent vocal performances and are more representative of the tour than nights like Sarajevo.

I agree with the Popmart shows, but personally, I love his Elevation voice more.
  4. To say "extremely good" though? Especially given his vocals on tours before, AND after Popmart?

Nah. I could agree with "not as bad as people make them out to be" - but to say they were extremely good is just plain not true.
  5. my opinions, always bring up some mocking because, hell yeah, I absolutely cannot really think THAT! - but I do:

    - though it's a nice album, TJT is not their masterpiece
    - repeat the sentence and place AB instead of TJT
    - Pop and Bomb are fantastic albums
    - NLOTH is always underrated and gets too much hate - it's my favorite album
    - I wouldn't mind if they would have dropped WOWY years ago, I'm so tired of that song. Same with MW
    - SOI and SOE are way overrated and esp SOE really sucks (some songs are live ok'ish, but the ALBUM is to me)

and one thing I actually got really bullied for with things like "fuck off, bitch" "asshole" and many ways telling me, I cannot be a U2 fan saying that:
Bono is NOT the sexiest man alive.
(No joke! Someone posted a Bono pic with like "oh hell, sexiest man alive" or whatever on facebook, I commented a - funny meant - "eh....no." and then the absolute shitstorm started. That was the day I learned, not all U2 fans do learn from U2's tolerance)

And obviously the fact that there are months and years I do NOT listen to any U2 and not get crazy about the smallest glimp of news, or simply not having any interest in "news", makes me a not-fan. Or whatever.
  6. @ sparko that's U2 fans for ya

I can safely say that U2 fans:

Aren't the slightest bit obsessive to the point of concern.

    Never act like dickheads.

    Aren't list organising line N*zis.

Never push in in front of you at concerts - and always think of you first.

Never get drunk at concerts and spill their drinks over your favourite U2 t-shirt.

And I can safely say, U2 fans prooved that list wrong to me, except I never saw someone throwing up on somebody's U2 shirt.
So I'm still thinking you might be sarcastic, ironic or joking ....
  8. Kindergarten (Baby AB) is better than Achtung Baby
  9. Kindergarten Acrobat and Wild Horses certainly are better. Kindergarten Zoo Station, Even Better, The Fly, Mysterious Ways, and Love Is Blindness are all at least as good.
