1. So, you have to pre order a CD which grants you access to the pre sale which gives you the CD with each ticket.
  2. christmas gifts solved
  3. It’s only North American shows you get the cd for free, they don’t have a presale code for people purchasing the album just the subscribers presale through verified fan. It’s getting done differently in Europe.

  4. Says April 2018.

Of course it happens that I will buy tickets to Tulsa of all places and then find out later its not even opening night

Tulsa sounds absurd and just impossible since I heard it They have to kick of elsewhere. As long as it's not Vancouver again......
  8. I'm really excited to see/hear what they'll do with the new songs and with the old ones.
I know I won't go to the shows, but I'm excited with the new tour because that's as new and exciting as a different new album.

    I see it as legos.

Every new album is like a new set of legos, and it's exciting to see how they'll use it to create a new tour.

But every new tour is a totally different creation, is not just new songs (lego blocks), it's the way they use them to create something unique.

When SOI came, we got brand new songs.
But when the i+e tour came, we got wonderful new creations (apart from the album), made with both new and old lego blocks:
    Sunday+Wolves+UTEOTW,
    EBW/October+Bullet+Zooropa+Streets,
    Joey+Boy galore+Vertigo, Iris+Cedarwood+SFS...

Every tour has something new to looking for in terms of these creations (that's why I always trust the band when they say that x song "didn't fit in the narrative/show/whatever", for me that's a 100% valid point).

It doesn't matter if it's a tired old song. Bullet was boring in TJT30 (now that I think of it, maybe that's why I thought TJT30 was a bit disappointing, they didn't really create anything new in that tour, they "just played their songs"), but I think it was awesome in i+e, so it doesn't depend on the lego block, but on what they do with it.

Anyway... hopefully they play a lot with their new legos and we get another awesome tour.
  9. Hoping to hear:

    1) New songs
    2) New songs
    3) New songs
    4) New songs
    5) New songs
    6) New songs
    7) New songs
    8) Rarities (non album tracks)
    9) Songs never/rarely played before or in the past couple of decades
    10) Any other song.

    I heartily agree

U2 consistently manage to construct a really good show, even if they use mainly the same songs.
  11. It's a crazy decision to tour the US again surely they have reached saturation point by touring there 3 times in the last 2 years, why don't they start the tour off in Japan,Aus,NZ etc and then onto Eastern and mainland Europe these places have been vastly ignored and underplayed through much of the bands career and are always shortchanged in favour of the US yet they have a massive following in these markets but the band and LN seem to think the US is the place to be yet the last 2 albums have failed to set the US album charts alight or provide any hit singles ,yeah we know it's a dead cert they will sell out most of the arenas but coming so soon after TJT tour is the appetite there for another big tour.
