    According to Bono's Rolling Stone interview (May 30), the second part of the tour will be called: Experience and Innocence tour

    Actually the theme of Innocence and Experience has a line from a song called "Rejoice" which is "I can't change the world, but I can change the world in me." I wrote that at 22. That's the spirit of Innocence. But the spirit of Experience is actually I can change the world, I can't change the world in me. That is the actual, dare I say it, dialectic of Innocence and Experience. And when we come back to that tour as the Experience and Innocence tour, that's the theme. I felt we've done that. That was just to say that October, we covered.
    Not that I want to debate semantics here (e.g., I+E pt2 vs E+I), but at least be aware that there are already some thoughts and ideas regarding this second part - including the name.

  10. Going back on topic, me as many others can't believe that anything from Pop came back to life during the I&E Tour. It's unbelievable that they wasted that screen and stage with 29 performances of Desire, 25 of Angel Of Harlem and 16 absurd Sweetest Things and didn't pull off a Discothèque.

    Do you not think they've been saving pop for the more experienced themed shows we're about to see? I do agree though songs from pop could have been played on the I&E tour already.
