Couldn't have said it better myself
  2. I like the song and it will continue to grow on me simple. When the album comes out I'll like that too, simple.
  3. People who were at the gig and if you could possibly answer this: How different was the other song you guys got to hear through the PA to the Blackout? Was it also a big rocker? Was it sonically similar?
  4. No no I'm referring to the other song (other than The Blackout) that was apparently played. The Lights From Home or something?

Slower, but had a nice raw groove also. But harder to figure out on a first listen
  6. Don't think we can talk about other songs than Blackout
  7. Oh right, sorry.

    Bono loves lights currently.
  8. Yeah, Guy Oseary might knock on your door and revoke your U2com subscription

I like Blackout, and am encouraged for SOE...I am on the record as a fan of Invisible, Every Breaking Wave(Acoustic), Lucifer's Hands, and Crystal Ballroom. Probably my 4 favorites from SOI, uh well, none were really on it. So even though I think SOI is their worst album by a mile, if those were on it, it would have been much better. But I don't hate it. The worst U2 album is better than anything Oaysis Gallager or whoever those overrated 90's birds are ever did
  10. Videos don't really concern me much but I really think they could have done something different with this song.. there are differences from The Invisible video but it's not very artistic/ maybe they don't care about videos? I mean let's be honest when we compare their best video to other bands...(say no more)
  11. Cool, cool. Thanks! Despite the mixing issues with the version of The Blackout we've heard, you can certainly tell it has a more "raw" feeling to it, and I dig that. Glad to hear the other track might have it as well.

Now I'm super curious to hear their version of The Best Thing..
